How to Apply
Fleming Fund Country, Regional and Fellowship grants are awarded according to a competitive tender process (with the exception of the "other projects" which are awarded separately). Details around the application processes can be found below.
To submit an application or contact the grant management agent, use the contact address listed within the relevant RFP or TOR. Click on the button below to see a list of open opportunities.
The RFP will be released following consultation with the national government and AMR Coordination Committee. This will be publicised through the local press, on social media and the Fleming Fund website. RFPs will vary between countries.
An Applicant Information Session will be held shortly after the release of the RFP in the respective country. Interested parties should register and attend the event to find out more about the Fleming Fund, the application process, and the scope of the grant.
Interested parties request and receive an application information pack. This will contain all the relevant documentation required to submit a full application.
Applications are submitted in full before the stated deadline. No proposals will be considered following the deadline.
Applications will be reviewed and results communicated to applicants in due course.
Prospective grantees respond to EOI which will be published on the Fleming Fund website. which will be published here. Successful applications will be invited to develop a full proposal.

Fellowships: Application Process ▾
Fellowships are only available to individuals who work in institutions already supported by a Fleming Fund grant. Institutions are selected within our priority countries and then advertise a Fellowship Terms of Reference for eligible employees. Fellowship applications are reviewed by an international panel and selection is based entirely on merit, using defined criteria in the Terms of Reference.
