AMR Action Plan
Bhutan has developed its National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) (2017 – 2020) which has been endorsed by Cabinet and approved by the Ministry of Health. The National Emerging Infectious Diseases, Public Health Emergencies and Health Security Workplan (2016-2020), developed with the support of the World Health Organization, also provides an important framework for AMR activity and more detail of proposed activities.
