AMR Governance Structure

The Inter-Ministerial Committee for One Health is supported by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

AMR Action Plan

Bhutan has developed its National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) (2017 – 2020) which has been endorsed by Cabinet and approved by the Ministry of Health. The National Emerging Infectious Diseases, Public Health Emergencies and Health Security Workplan (2016-2020), developed with the support of the World Health Organization, also provides an important framework for AMR activity and more detail of proposed activities.
