AMR Action Plan
Timor-Leste has its own National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance (2017-2020), which was developed in 2016 by the MoH with technical support from WHO. It is available for download on the WHO SEARO website. The NAP on AMR (2017-2020) includes five strategic objectives:
- Strategic objective 1: Awareness
- Strategic objective 2: Surveillance of AMR
- Strategic objective 3: Hygiene, infection prevention and control
- Strategic objective 3: Hygiene, infection prevention and control
- Strategic Objective 5: Economic case for sustainable investments and increase investments in new medicines, diagnostic tools, vaccines and other interventions to reduce antimicrobial use
