The Fleming Fund Country Grants programme supports the country's National Action Plan to tackle antimicrobial resistance, including Sri Lanka.
Activities are expected to support existing government health systems and work in tandem with relevant government ministries. Grant management is coordinated through the Management Agent, Mott MacDonald.

The objectives are developed and agreed in partnership with the Government of Sri Lanka to:
- Strengthen One Health governance and data sharing.
- Strengthen the AMR and AMU surveillance system in human health.
- Strengthen the AMR and AMU surveillance systems in animal and environmental health.
